Steelwood trusses combine solid timber top and bottom chords with galvanised steel diagonal web members — engineered for builds that demand long spans, high load capacity, and reliable performance. Steelwood uses vertical timber compression members and diagonal galvanised steel tension webs, which from an engineering perspective is superior to V-webbed joist systems and can carry higher loads.
