Steelwood trusses combine solid timber top and bottom chords with galvanised steel diagonal web members — engineered for builds that demand long spans, high load capacity, and reliable performance. Steelwood uses vertical timber compression members and diagonal galvanised steel tension webs, which from an engineering perspective is superior to V-webbed joist systems and can carry higher loads. Floor spans reach up to 10 metres and roof spans up to 20 metres with most sheet roofing materials. Manufactured off-site and delivered when required, Steelwood is simple and efficient to install.
